A Few Notes from Your Webmaster

For the last 2 and a half years, the Sustainable Otsego group has been held together by posts on its Riseup Listserv. This Web site takes the next step by providing a broader, better packaged place where we can share thoughts and return for information about Sustainable Otsego's objectives.

To gain access to the full content of the site, you should register. Logging in (and you can set your login to remember you forever) will present additional entries in the menus.

What to pay attention to:

• Events: I will do my best to keep this current. Among the features of this calendar are details of the venue of each event. Click on the "feet" toward the bottom, and you'll get a Google map of the location.
• Forum: The Riseup list doesn't suit for continued dialog on a topic; as a matter of fact, often a free dialog results in many "take me off this list" requests. The Forum is much better suited for continuing dialog.
• Documents: This area will contain a growing number of downloadable documents. As a registered user, you can contribute.
• Links: Locations on the Internet we feel are of importance. As a registered user, you can add links.
• Gallery: We will be assembling photographs of locations, not limited to drilling, of interest to our membership.
• Contacts: Please let us know your feelings about what we are doing. We are not mind readers and depend upon you to voice your likes, dislikes, and what you would like to see implemented within the site in the future.
